HITACHI ZAXIS 220K Crawler Excavator

The HITACHI ZAXIS 220K is a reinforced 22-ton class medium crawler excavator from Hitachi Construction Machinery, purpose-built for heavy-duty working scenarios including quarrying, rock excavation, building foundation construction, municipal engineering and road infrastructure projects. Powered by an Isuzu 6BG1T heavy-duty turbocharged diesel engine with a rated net power of 122kW (164hp), this excavator is paired with Hitachi’s mature HIOS hydraulic system, delivering precise, responsive and smooth control of the reinforced boom, arm and bucket while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency. It has an operating weight of approximately 22 tons and a standard bucket capacity of 0.8–1.0m³, with enhanced bucket and arm crowding force to easily handle hard rock excavation and heavy bulk material handling. The heavy-duty reinforced undercarriage with thickened track chains and robust track frames provides superior traction, stability and impact resistance on rough quarry sites and uneven terrain. The fully enclosed ergonomic cab with wide visibility, shock absorption and low-noise design creates a safe and comfortable operating environment for long work shifts.
